MAC OS – Open Windows Network Share

Windows network shares can be browsed by following these steps-

  1. Select the Go menu and then click on Connect to Server
  2. Under ‘Server Address’ enter in the path as such smb://file/share

Please note :      \FILESHARE in Windows = smb://file/share in Mac OS

  1. To save the share for future use click on the Plus icon
  2. Click on the Connect button
  3. When prompted enter in the Username and Password to the account
