Occasionally after an Adobe Acrobat Reader update PDF documents will not automatically display inside an Internet Explorer frame element.
To fix this:
- Clear the Temporary Internet files
- In Acrobat Reader, select the ‘Edit’ menu then ‘Preferences’
- Select the ‘Internet’ menu then check or un-check the ‘Display PDF in Browser’ option
This option can also be used to permanently stop Adobe PDF files from being viewed inside the Internet Explorer window.
