How to delete Internet Explorer Saved Passwords

The following steps detail how to clear the saved passwords remembered in Internet Explorer.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select the ‘Tools’ menu
  3. Select ‘Internet Options’
  4. Select the ‘Content’ tab
  5. Under ‘AutoComplete’ select the ‘Settings’ button
  6. Select the ‘Delete AutoComplete history’ button
  7. Check that only ‘Cookies’ and ‘Passwords’ is selected and click on the ‘Delete’ button
