Uninstall Internet Explorer 8

The following steps detail how to uninstall Internet Explorer 8 from Windows 7.

Please note, it is suggested that you install an alternative Internet Browser before doing this.

  1. Open the ‘Windows (start)’ menu
  2. In the search box type Turn Windows features on or off and open the listed application
  3. In the Windows Features box that opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 8
  4. Click ‘Yes’ then ‘OK’ to finish the process
